All is Lost offers a risky adventure, both in terms of its plot (a man, traveling alone by the Indian Ocean, wakes up and discovers that there is a leak in his boat. His equipment is also faulty, so is his navigation, and unknowingly, he's headed for a terrible storm ... ), and in terms of its technical aspects, which reflect only two names: JC Chandor, director and screenwriter of All is Lost, and Robert Redford, the unique protagonist of the film.
